Lamps

With their soft, coloured light, natural stone lamps create an inimitable atmosphere in the interior. Lamps can be made, for example, of fluorite, Argentinian aragonite, selenite or salt.

Lamps by material

Aragonite from Argentina forms irregularly grown layers with a unique pattern and white, yellow and beige colouring. Aragonite is one of the forms of calcium carbonate, like calcite. The light of these lamps is pleasant and warm.

Fluorite is calcium fluoride with a wide range of colours, from purple to green. Backlit, a stone with transitions from green to deep purple is very striking.

Selenite is a fibrous, silky-lustrous variety of gypsum. Each fibre is a long gypsum crystal that acts as an optical fibre capable of conducting light. This effect is clearly visible on a cut perpendicular to the direction of the fibres.

Where to place a lamp

A stone lamp is a decorative rather than a task light. It works well as soft lighting in a living room, bedroom or hallway, where it creates a calm atmosphere in the evening. We state in the description what comes with a particular lamp, for example a bulb or a cable with a switch. For every piece, you will find its own photos, dimensions and weight.
